Tax Advantage Program

There are three main tax rules that you must meet as a traveler to participate in the Tax Advantage Program.

  • You must have a permanent tax home.
  • Your assignment must not be with in commuting distance of your permanent tax home.
  • The assignment including extensions may not extend beyond one year.

Travel Nursing Staffing

RNI is a Joint Commission Certified Healthcare Staffing Service agency that provides contracted nurses and allied staff to hospitals, skilled care facilities, clinics, and medical offices from 4 to 26 week assignments.

To become a travel nurse/allied staff for RNI, you must first complete an application and be approved for hire by our HR Department. You can complete the application online by clicking on the apply now or by downloading the printable version and faxing 877-349-3129 or emailing to staffing@registrynetwork.net.

No. Your application is used to qualify you for hiring only. You can choose to work as a travel nurse/allied staff now or in the future.

You must have at least 1 year of experience in your specialty in an acute care facility (some positions and assignments may require more experience, please contact your local office for more info).

Travel assignments range from 4 to 26 weeks with the typical assignment being 13 weeks.

Travel assignments are full-time, 36 to 40 hours a week. You may also work registry at another facility if you’d like on your days off.

Pay rates vary depending on the facility as well as your specialty. We promise you that RNI is very competitive with our pay rates.

Payroll is completed on Wednesday afternoon and your stub emailed to you for review so that when the pay is issued on Friday there are no discrepancies.  This will be for days worked the previous week. Our payroll week runs Sunday through Saturday at most facilities. We provide direct deposit and Wisley Card. Please contact your local office for more info.

Yes. You must have a current and valid Healthcare Provider license in California. Your travel coordinator can help you with contacting the CA state board.

Yes. All clinical staff must complete and pass the exams that pertain to their specialty. These exams can only be taken online. For your convenience, each office has a designated testing computer for those that don’t have access to a computer or the internet.

All clinical staff must have a current CPR/BLS card (American Heart Association for Healthcare Providers). You must also have any certifications that pertain to your specialty. These may include: ACLS, PALS, NRP, FHM, MAB/CPI/DAB, and TNCC

All clinical staff must have a current Physical Exam, TB clearance, respiratory fit test, proof of 2 immunization or titers showing immunity levels for the following: Hepatitis-B, MMR (Measles, Mumps, and Rubella), and Varicella.
